 Something new,
it has to happen,
something good,
it has to too.

If we continue polluting,
If we continue wasting water,
If we contine killing animals,
There'll be nothing left.

Not you,
nor me,
nor anybody in my family.

None of us will be here.

This is not nature,
the world wasn't made for this.

Without nature nobody will live.

Right now Nature is sick.
If we don't stand up and cure her,
we'll die too.

So what are we doing,
are we all suiciding ourselfs?

Let's get some work done,
we need something new.

We need to start again,
from the very beginning.

Because this is not nature,
and Nature is sick.

We need something new,
And something good has to happen.

When Mama was sick, towel on her head,
Daddy sent her to her room, into her bed.
When Daddy was sick,
Sneezing everywhere,
Mama tucked him up tight,
In his bed up the stairs.
When Sister Judy was sick,
Coughing this way and that,
Mama and Daddy said
"Well,that's that!"
And off to bed she went.
When I got sick,
I missed school,
All my friends in a blunder,
I was gone for a day ,
And they started to wonder.
But when the Earth was sick,
Many years ago,
People didn't try to stop it,
They just let it go.
No vaccinations or medicene,
Asprin or Nurofen,
And now we live in space,
Because the Earth has died because of the
Lazy Human Race!
So I ask you now,
How do you heal a sick world?

melting snow

That feeling when your birthday is in december and you just want to play with the snow on your special day... and just a few days before it, the snow melts...
Well, this how I expressed my disappointment in december 2010, a few days before my tenth birthday.

Don't you love snow? Well, I certainly did as a child, and I still do now! This poem was written nine days before my tenth birthday, hoping that the snow would still be there on my special day...
