Copying a leaf
Sunday 13 th October 2013As homework, we had to draw an exact copy of a pressed leaf that had been given to us. This assignment was a challenge for me, since i didn't have a paintbrush thin enough to draw the thin veins, and since I'm not a very experienced painter. If you look at the pictures below, we can see that the veins on the right-hand part of my leaf are too highlighted and the stem is way too thick at the bottom. We can also see that my cutting wasn't very good, I didn't manage cutting all of those pointy bits on the leaf. I tried fixing all of this, but it was very hard. Here are the pictures:
